Copper Dick was supposedly seen wearing a Fidel T shirt recently.

I'm sure that would help improve NFL ratings.

    ETA: True, apparently:

There have definitely been some shameful statements made today:

Plenty more where those came from...

Looking forward to the reception he's going to receive when he walks on the field in Miami tomorrow.

If celebrities go out in threes if Copper Dick goes next this will be one kickass week.

I don't drink but I'll have a sip tonight at one less communist dictator in the world.

If I was POTUS, I would have tweeted:

Castro was a murderous bastard. The people praising Castro are not ignorant of this, at least not a sizable chunk of them. They're well aware. And they agree with it.

Remember what Walter Duranty, a NYT "journalist" who won a Pulitzer for basically repeating Stalinist propaganda as "reporting", said when challenged on Stalin's atrocities: You can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs.

To the people praising Castro, his ruthless, blood-soaked hold on power is the goal. A society where, to quote Che Guevara who helped Castro in the killing, "execute from revolutionary conviction" because "judicial evidence is an archaic bourgeois detail" is exactly what they wish to promote...because they picture themselves in control of that society and those of us who have the unmitigated temerity to disagree with them being the ones lined up against the wall.

This is why we stay armed and organized. Because if you scratch the surface of many of these "progressive" types you find beneath the hearts of murderous totalitarians willing to do or say anything to achieve ultimate power.
