Marc Morganti at Gemini Customs (https://www.geminicustoms.com) used to do trigger work on the Ruger SP101, though it looks like he may now only offer "whole package" jobs. Wouldn't hurt to ask.

He's worked on three of my SP101s (and a GP100), and produces a long but butter-smooth and perfectly reliable trigger pull.

I merely cleaned, deburred, properly lubed with Slip2000, shimmed and dropped down one level hammer spring. Huge improvement. Still reliable.

I only have one, but dropped it off and chatted with him, and I think he is (was) willing to do alacart tasks but that it is deemphasized because $100+ in shipping makes it financially unfeasible.

Really nice guy, if you live where you could bring it to him but he wants to have an appointment. I just showed up and it was kinda awkward.

I tried this. I did the lighter TRS too. Has some failures of the trigger to return. On return the trigger sounds like an old screen door closing. I am debating putting it back to stock and sending it back to Ruger to see if there is actually something wrong with it.

Did you remove the trigger return spring/latch spring from the trigger guard and clean out the hole it fits in? My GP100 had some big metal shavings inside that hole, causing a rough, jerky trigger return.
