    Sad to hear Jim died. I just talked to him last year about a sight project.

    It is why I broke into the credit line for them. Jim was a legendary Pistolsmith, and to preserve what are likely two of the last guns he did, and as a perfectly matched set.....yea, kind of a no brainer.
    Just a Hairy Special Snowflake supply clerk with no field experience, shooting an Asymetric carbine as a Try Hard. Snarky and easily butt hurt. Favorite animal is the Cape Buffalo....likely indicative of a personality disorder.

    What a gorgeous pair! I hand the great opportunity to spend 2 weeks working under Jim's tutelage when I was in G/S school & really enjoyed his outstanding craftsmanship & skills.
