    random summer image dump...

The rescue boat I often am found behind the wheel of although here it looks like I'm standing at the stern

The giant commercial building in my town, dwarfing all others with its might. Probably about the same size as the Sears Tower. Pictured here at sunrise.

I was happier than I look here, I don't know why I look so serious

you can crank her over pretty good...doing maybe 30 knots here

This is the beach at the bottom of my street

My kid loves this old honda deathtrap that's on the island

sunset over our bay at the island

this beetle was like an inch long and is unfamiliar to me although it reminded me of a cicada with the broad head. Someone here probably knows what it is.

Yes, if I'm at the cabin I go down to the bay almost every evening

even if it's a bit cloudy

    low tide

and a large resulting tide pool full of crabs and small fish

This is a thread where I built a boat I designed and which I very occasionally update with accounts of using it, which is really fun as long as I'm not driving over logs and blowing up the outboard.

The only bone (clavicle) I broke in my youth was from flipping a 3-wheeler.

If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.
