    Did a SOTA activation on Cove Mtn (Dragon's Tooth) in SW VA last weekend. It was a 2.4m hike each way, but the last .5m before the summit is more bouldering and rock scrambling than hiking. I only managed 2 confirmed contacts in the 2hrs I was up there (Oregon and Texas), but was rewarded with beautiful weather and views.

    I live about 5 miles from there in Masons Cove flag you enjoyed the hike. Tr McAfees Knob next time most photographed spot on the Appalachian Trail !
