I tried to get closer and man they don’t like being near us. Earlier in the year I got pretty close a few times but no luck yesterday. Sometimes the whole scene is nicer anyway (excuses lol)

90 acre lake in TNF, no motorized boats allowed, not even trolling motors. This retirement thing is still new to me, going there on a weekday sorta blows my mind compared to what was possible in my working life. I was the only person on the entire lake, paddling of course, and in fact I never saw another human after I turned off the main highway.
This will be a priceless place to be when our leaves turn in a month or so.
