Looking for Load Data-9MM, Hodgdon HP-38, 124gr RN, Remington 1-1/2 Primer

Looking for Load Data for 9MM using the following components:
    Hodgdon HP-38 Powder
    124gr RN Bullet
    Remington 1-1/2 Primer

    Anyone have anything? What source?

    Thanks, R

    Sorry, no recipe today.
I could probably dig up something but not with Remington primers.

I am loading ammo with same brass, bullet, and powder but thus far seven different primers for a chronograph comparison test, probably to be shot Friday. Not with 124 gr bullets, though.

What type of 124 RN are you using: Hard Cast Lead, Coated HCL, or FMJ?

I am using 124 gr Hard Cast Lead.

Hodgdon reloading data, on their website, shows starting load to be 3.9 grains, max is 4.4 grains using a Berry's plated bullet which is pretty similar to a hard cast bullet, just plated.

That should give you a good place to start.

    I found HP-38 and 124's "snappy".

    I was loading coated 124's.

4.2 gr loaded to 1.120" made about 130 PF.

4.0 was much much softer, but was only 122 PF.
