    HK Sight Install

So, I've got a USP/P2000 MGW sight pusher, which, luckily, works fine on P2Ks, P30s, HK45Cs, everything EXCEPT the VP9 (whose slide is significantly too short to work on this). Checking Brownells, it appears the only solution is a $300 new pusher - which, frankly, ain't likely to happen. So, is there any other option for drifting the factory sights off my VP9, so I can install HDs?

    Thanks

This. Hammer and punch work fine, and are what I have used on all my VP9's.

What y'all don't understand is that I have, within the last three years, broken two hammers, a screw driver, and a torque wrench. Subtlety and technique are not my forte...

I was actually looking at the $300 MGW version, because my experience with the P500 was not so bueno - not a big fan of a small, circular rotating steel pusher on steel sights...

? the pusher is the choice of a pair of blocks that the screw pushes.

I send mine in to HK. Don't trust myself with a hammer on sights.

They are really backed up now -- think the USP thread bombed them with trigger work.

Hammer, punch, vise for my VP9. Dawson precisions took some time to fit.
