Advice-suggestions on Gatlingburg
Heading out Sunday for Gatlinburg for several days.
1. Any thing I need to be aware of concerning carrying firearms? I have a Florida CWFP.
2. Restaurants? Attractions?

I've been there several times.
If you're active, there are lots of great hiking trails in the area.
Wandering around downtown is fun.
Cades Cove is a nice drive and you may see bears. If you have a 4x4, there's a 1-way mountain trail that you can take off the CC loop, but it's one way and dumps you way on the other side of the mountain. Years ago, before kids and minivans, my wife and I drove the trail and had a picnic well away from everything.
The nighttime views from the chairlift in town are worth the time.
Don't forget Smoky Mtn Knifeworks in Sevierville.
As for firearms, the only concern would be the federal buildings in the Park itself. IIRC, carrying in the park otherwise is ok, but I'd verify first.

Can't consume alcohol in TN while carrying. I don't OC anyway but for sure wouldn't in a tourist trap.
Eat at Calhoun's - get the catfish with spinach Maria side and wash it down with a Cherokee Red Ale.

Bennetts Bar-B-Q and the Peddler Steak House are good places to eat. Mtnbkr's post has some great info.
