    Olight Weapon Light

    Admittedly, I'm an Olight fan.

This seems like an interesting product but I have no idea how well they'd preform on a firearm vs a Surefire or Streamlight.

    ETA - quick specs

    450 lumens/2,800 candela from a single CR123
    1 hr runtime
    $99

If it's going on a firearm used for self defense it had better be well vetted.

Since the Streamlight (2 x CR 123A) TLR-1 HL can often be found at or near the same price point, I'd be hesitant to trust this model without a lot of personal testing before employing it on a firearm I relied upon for defensive use.

(I carry a AAA olight daily but only Surefire or Streamlight on my firearms, long guns in my case. YMMV.)

There's nothing civil about this war.

Olight is Asian right? They probably make airsoft quality stuff.

Buy good stuff, thats American made, for your gun.

    I hear ya guys.

I only have Streamlight and Surefire lights on guns.

    Just passing it along.

I am tempted to put one on a gun and abuse it at the range for a couple 1000 rounds.

I would be very tempted to try it if someone made an IWB holster specifically for use with this light. Most of the options that would fit are sized to accommodate a larger light.

Olight generally seems to have a decent reputation for quality but I have no personal experience.

It's appears similar in size to the Inforce APL but with 450 lumens vs 200.

I had to chuckle when I read this since PF seems very satisfied with non-American guns.

Guns are guns, while I'd love to buy a US assembled Glock, sometimes that's not the case.

However, whenever possible we should all support American labor and America.
