Let's say that Trump wins and, with a supportive Senate, fills those four SCOTUS seats with Nationalist Conservatives. Throw in J. Alito and J. Thomas and the vote is 6 to 4. Why would those four remaining liberal justices stick around? They will have zero impact on law during the entire remainder of their careers.
Can you imagine all ten seats filled with NC's?

Let's play this out worst case scenario style. Hillary or Trump pack the court with anti gunners. SCOTUS overturns Heller the next day.
Will Wyoming pass an AWB the next day? Will Texas ban guns in the home ? Is Montana going to round up gun owners for mass registration? Will Glock release a 9mm carbine? No to all the above.
One might say this enables anti gun areas to proceed with total weapons bans, but Heller hasn't stopped much of that.CA,NY,DC and other liberal anti gun areas arent waiting for a permission slip from SCOTUS and have enacted anti gun regulations anyways.
What counts now is The House and The Senate. Legislation directly comes from those places, not the White House and not the SCOTUS.
If we do our part and stay involved with LOCAL politics and legislative races , no bad laws get passed and we don't have to rely on the biases of the judiciary branch.

I don't agree with that term; for me it used to be Liberal versus Conservative, now it's Globalist versus Nationalist.

Unfortunately the Republicans threw the election by nominating the only person horrible enough to lose to Clinton.
They could have nominated a German Shepard, it's the voters who determine who wins.
