    3:00 IWB under a t-shirt.

    Bill Drill
    3.46 - .25 = 3.21 Dark
    2.24 - .25 = 1.99 Turbo

    F2S
    2.58 - .25 + .25 = 2.58 Dark
    2.06 - .25 + .50 = 2.31 Dark

    2H
    2.18 - .25 + .25 = 2.18 Light
    2.16 - .25 + .25 = 2.16 Light

    4B2H
    4.09 - .25 = 3.84 Dark
    3.46 - .25 + .25 = 3.46 Light

I used the first Bill as warmup run which is why there's such a large difference in the times on that drill.
I really bombed on the F2S. I know what I'll be working on next weekend.

Tried these today. G19-5 concealed AIWB under a buttoned up shirt.

    2H: 2.34 C —> 2.09
    2H: 2.30 C —> 2.05
    2B1H: 2.33 -H —> 2.33
    2B1H: 2.17 C —> 1.92

    4B2H: 3.58 -H —> 3.58
    4B2H: 3.14 -H —> 3.14

My draw still needs work. I didn’t break 1.5s during any of these runs.

On short-form drills like this, the draw definitely counts for a lot...

Getting ready to shoot a IPSC Production Optics match in December so I've started doing some work with the 17 MOS to learn how dot guns work.

Gear details are a G17 MOS with a Shield SMS 4MOA optic. Gun has a IPSC Production legal trigger of just over 5lb's, stock except for the 2kg connector. Holster is a Bladetech injection moulded job.

Only did one run as I was almost out of ammo. Liking the dot gun more and more.

Bill drill 2.08 (just missed Turbo and annoyingly I had others outside this run that made time. Draw let me down here.
Failure To Stop 1.61( I was happy with that)
Two to the Head 1.56 +.25= 1.81 (pulled one just out the 4" circle on this one)
Four Body Two Head 2.36+.25=2.61 (dropped a body shot into the C)
Welcome to Africa, bring a hardhat.

I've been away from shooting for several years and used these standards the last couple of days to help me try to remember how to shoot. I consistantly made dark pin times on three out of four strings, with the screw-ups being random. Mostly I lost time on the draw, lots of room there to improve. Enjoy it!

OTOH, doing Hackathorn's Test, I passed easily on two of three tries, with the fail being due to shooting too slowly. At least I haven't forgotten everything.

PX4CC AIWB concealed under long sleeve button up shirt. Penalty is added to total time - .25 for concealment. I don't have an IDPA target- so I just use an 8" paper plate for the body and 3x5 card for the head. I need to get proper target as I probably am penalizing myself too much. 1 second to miss the entire plate, instead of a possible .25 miss depending on zone.

    Bill Drill:
    5.10 - .25 = 4.85 (M)
    5.15 - .25 = 4.90 (M)

    Failure to Stop:
    4.68 - .25 = 4.43 (M)
    3.67 - .25 = 3.42

    Two to the head:
    3.71 - .25 = 4.20 (M)
    3.21 - .25 = 3.53 (M)

    4 body 2 head:
    7.48 - .25 = 7.23 (2M/1M)
    7.36 - .25 = 7.11 (M/M)

Total time- 39.67. I need to miss less, duh.

Beretta M9 strong side in JMCK IWB3 holster, concealed under long sleeve button up shirt. Penalty is added to total time - .25 for concealment. Bill Drill:
    6.10 - .25 = 5.85 (M)
    4.72 - .25 = 4.47

    Failure to Stop:
    3.75 - .25 = 3.50
    4.55 - .25 = 4.30

    Two to the head:
    3.98 - .25 = 3.73 (M)
    2.95 - .25 = 2.70

    4 body 2 head:
    7.07 - .25 = 6.82 (M/M)
    6.17 - .25 = 5.92 (M)

Total time- 37.29. I had never shot the M9 Beretta from concealed before- or a holster. Yes- even in the Army. Yet somehow, I missed less with the M9 than with the PX4CC and shot an overall lower time.

P-07 Cajunized (8.5#DA / 4#SA). Dawson FO front sight 0.95", black rear. SS guiderod w/15# flat wire recoil spring. Tractiongrips griptape.
JMCK AIWB George under a heavy sweater.

Notes: Weather was cold (38F), and my draws felt sluggish. I was down 2 B's for this run. For some reason, I kept aiming at the smaller upper A zone, so that might have cost a few 10ths. Still not quite there for consistent Turbo runs with the P-07, but getting close. I am really liking this gun, and especially liking how similar it is to my competition guns.

I finally had some success (for me) with this, made it into dark pin territory. I did six sets of the four drills, the first three will not be discussed to protect the guilty. Suffice it to say that I got most of my major screw-ups out of the way.

S&W M13-2, using my old ESR load of a 158-grain RNL at ~1090 fps (~172 PF), from concealment, current IDPA target.

    Set 4:

    Bill drill: 3.55 - .25 = 3.30
    Failure to stop: 3.04 - .25 = 2.79
    Two to the head: 3.14 - .25 = 2.89
    4 body 2 head: 4.18 (-1) + .25 -.25 = 4.18

    Set 5:

    Bill drill: 3.20 - .25 = 2.95
    Failure to stop: 2.80 - .25 = 2.55
    Two to the head: 3.00 - .25 = 2.75
    4 body 2 head: 4.83 - .25 = 4.58

    Set 6:

    Bill drill: 3.37 - .25 = 3.12
    Failure to stop: 3.10 - .25 = 2.85
    Two to the head: 2.99 (-1) +.25 - .25 = 2.99
4 body 2 head: 4.27 - .25 = 4.02 (Did this last string with 158-grain JHPs over a max load of 296. It was overcast and almost dusk. It lit up the range pretty well. )

I really need to work on my draw-to-first-shot time and on reacting to the buzzer.

I can't wait to try this again with my CZ-75, it's gonna feel like a .22!
