    G19 Gen4 with factory np3 finish?

Local shop has one. Same price as all other gen4.

Any experience or input on this model?

What "factory" is the question. If it's RobarGuns' factory, then you can read about its finish(es) here:

Not that I know anything, but I'm unaware Glock has contracted with Robarguns to produce a special model with NP3®.

I was told it was a factory limited run.

They did runs with FailZero. I'm unaware of robar models , though

Robar NP3+ or Nickel Boron? If it's NP3+ I'd grab it...

It's NP3 but I just spoke to Glock and they say they never did an np3 model. Hmmm.

Glock does one finish. Their's. Some distributors/retailers send frames, slides, barrels out to third party shops to have alternate finishes, then reassemble them and sell them as new. Glock does not.

Skip it, or should be good? Dealer got it from his distributor this way and assumed it was from Glock with this finish.

As PensFan pointed out, while it may be good, and may be worth the additional tariff, it quite simply is not from Glock per se. It's from a 3rd party/distributor applying the finish as an after-production item subsequent to its procurement from Glock, and then placing it into the market/consumer stream.

In my opinion, like the various colors of frames/slides that have cropped up, for most it's more an issue of aesthetics as opposed to any operational/functional necessity. You have to assess the additive value/worth as it applies to you, and make the decision.

    Best, Jon

It's actually the exact same price at his shop as is the regular black and also fde and black models. No extra premium.
