Since Benjamin Henry got out of the gun-designing business after he got screwed over by Oliver Winchester (in Henry's view), that some Italian dude apparently bought the rights to his name nearly a century after Henry died seems a little less smarmy.

But just a little bit less.

Probably didn't have to buy or acquire anything, Henry was never the name used by the company, it was the nickname of the rifle, but manufactured by the New Haven Arms Co. Its good marketing strategy, choosing a known historical name, even though, as with Springfield, there was never any real connection.
