Not sure what's going on but Team Sig has been terminated. Caught this first on Doodie and thought it was a joke. Tim Herron confirmed it on his Tim Herron Shooting Facebook page. All the Team Sig social media pages have been pulled also.
Anyone hear anything on why they pulled the plug? Did sponsoring gamers tarnish their Legion image?

I wonder if cost vs benefit came into play. I can't even begin to speculate what it would cost to sponsor an entire team of shooters. Isn't there a member here on Team Sig? PPGMGP or something like that?
I think that people obsessed with some imaginary "Timmy/Gamer" divide vastly overestimate its existence outside of a handful of internet venues. IIRC Sig has laid off over 200 people within the last year....so....Im guessing its continued cut backs?

Heck, I dunno. Interesting to hear anyone closer in to this with the real story (Mr. Gray perhaps?). But maybe like Ms. Tam said, it's just a business decision based on ROI, like BMW pulling out of F1.
