These might be better for pocket carry and still comfortable for shooting.

I have a set of Rogers grips for mine. I like them.
Chuck, these are what I am looking at; what do you think?

Precision Delta has reloaded wadcutters on sale at present for $185/1k shipped.
Those are for the 9mm version. Auto rounds (9mm/.45 ACP) need the clips in a revolver for the extractor to work. The rims on revolver fodder (.38/.357) are wider than the case diameter and therefore the clips are unnecessary.
Now, some .38/.357s can be custom cut for moon clips, and some are factory options, like the S&W 640 Pro, but that's one of the touches from their Performance Center / Custom Shop.
Clear as Mud? In a nutshell, using the moon clips in your LCR will not allow the cylinder to close.

Yep.
That’s why I am on p-f.
Thanks Chuck.
So...speed strips then?

I prefer to use the 8 round ones with the rounds spaced out. I can reload faster and leaving the empty space at the end makes the strip ambidextrous.
I got the idea from Greg Ellifritz here:
