Johnson County deputy kidnapped and sexually assaulted; authorities looking for vehicle

At around 11:30 p.m., the car was seen in the area of 101 N. Kansas Ave. in Olathe, in a parking lot adjacent to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Adult Detention Center.

The off-duty deputy had just parked her car and was walking to work from the parking lot to the Central Booking building. Then, a white man in the car forced the deputy into the car against her will.

The sheriff believes two men were involved in the kidnapping, and the deputy did not know either of the men in the car.

The deputy was sexually assaulted, and she escaped from the car around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday in Lee’s Summit around Interstate 470 and NE Woods Chapel Road.

It's very possible she wasn't carrying, since it looks like she works in the jail.

I'll bet that the perpetrators were inmates who staked her out.

I have no moral objections to the criminals in question being ventilated on sight, preferably with every round on the persons of the officer(s) that find them.

Very true around here. Jailers are not class One LE, though some are titled as "Deputy".
