I carry issued G23 Gen4 about 50 hours a week on duty all year long. Also almost always have crusty pre-lock 442 in weakside front pocket.

Lately I've been carrying the work 23 off duty a lot more because the chance of being involved in a shooting seems to be on the upswing. I'd rather have their gun locked up than one of my own.

I am, however, a professional gun whore, and have a number of personal Glocks and other handguns I carry off-duty and for backup on duty.

For primary carry, I've been carrying a Gen 4 G17 for the last couple of months, and breaking in its twin for the last month. For the year prior primary carry gun was a Gen 3 G17. For about five years prior to that it was G19, either Gen 3 or later a Gen 4. I still carry one of the G19s in a fanny pack when i do my morning walk around our neighborhood. For a couple of years prior to that, it was Gen 3 G34s for primary carry, but they are essentially nightstand guns now. I like Gen 3 & 4 9mm Glocks.

I use a Kahr PM9 and Walther PPS Classic 9mm guns as backups, but not as primaries, at least not outside the house.
