I finally got to the range on 10.23.16 and chronographed the XM9001 and the '97 Ranger 127 grain +P+ through a Gen 2 G17, G19, and a Gen 2.5 G 26.

Two Federal 124gr Hydra Shok +P+ shot in clear gel. One penetrated 10 ½ and the other 11 ½ . The expansion is decent but still short in penetration.

Hydrashoks tend to have issues with heavy clothing, as well as intermediate barriers...

I also shot two standard 124gr HS in the same block and both of them completely passed through the 15in block.
