The beatdown by her husband and Harryman's subsequent gunshot seemed to cure meemaw of whatever had her confined to the Li'l Rascal previous to the altercation.
    Books. Bikes. Boomsticks.

I can explain it to you. I can’t understand it for you.

It's required depending on the store and if you have a chip card, and what company issued your card. Mastercard lets the retailers decide if they want to use PIN only, signature only, or customer's choice. Visa requires that retailers let the customer decide. That being said, I have a Visa Chase card and at some locations such as Kroger I have to use a PIN. I don't know if Visa's rules are for credit cards only and not bank cards, or if the retailers simply don't care and are doing what they want.

Walmart is suing Visa over their requirement to allow signatures.

Well you're not gonna have to assault someone for trying to look at your PIN at the checkout line then. So that's one for the win column! Almost as good as not having to use your AK.

Fifteen minutes ago I was at a Fred Meyer store in Gresham, bought stuff for a class demo and a couple Star Wars toys, and used my PIN at the POS. Luckily no beatdown ensued. Narrowly avoided disaster I tell you.
