HK is right in their neighborhood and everyone around uses their stuff, makes sense to me.

Same for FN.

If I remember correctly, some of their SF have used both HK 416s and FN SCAR's.

I'm just curious as to why FN didn't make the cut, especially considering that at one point it was part of the French conglomerate GIAT.

Actually, piston guns are the norm everywhere else. We are actually the ones a bit different.
