I really like my M&P 40 (Detroit PD surplus, 2010 construction) and of the M&P line the .40 has been the least troubled.

The Gen4 Takes quite a bit of recoil out of the .40 that the Gen 3 does not.

Easy! Issued a Gen4 23. Best damned pistol ever! Even carry it most of time off duty these days. Would prefer a Roland Special-ish, and hoping to ape w 19MOS.
