I'm cringing just seeing this! I have a laser bullet to practice dry firing, and even though I know its not loaded, I still cant bring myself to do anything close to this f**king stupid/derp-tastic!

If you want to give the guy the benefit of doubt, US Army Quick Kill is described in TT 23-71-1. Condition 3 carry, Hammer down on an empty chamber is also a military tradition. If that was his training, back in the day, then that is what he is practicing.

My issue isn't with PS or QK or condition 3 carry, it was the decision to post a thinly veiled spam/astroturf ad for a product he has developed for PS practice into a 25 yard marksmanship thread (where it makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE).

I spend a LOT of time with calipers measuring various aspects of assorted handguns (although I try to work with with cutaways and disassembled guns as much as possible). I end up pointing them all over the place (including at myself) in order to do so. Having said that, I do try to minimize it.

I find there to be a huge difference between wilfully and mindfully breaking one of the Four Rules (with full knowledge that that is in fact what one is doing) for a specific purpose, and mindlessly waving a deadly firearm around as though it were a can of soup.
