    Maybe techniques like this can be a good culling method. Less mall ninjas, or at a minimal, they'll have less hands?

    If you want to give the guy the benefit of doubt, US Army Quick Kill is described in TT 23-71-1. Condition 3 carry, Hammer down on an empty chamber is also a military tradition. If that was his training, back in the day, then that is what he is practicing.
