Shot one out to 600 with a buddy over the summer.
The gun shoots very well. First time shooting it with factory ammo gave sub MOA accuracy.
If I were in the market for a precision rig, the 6.5 CTR and a Vortex Razor would be all I needed.
I'll just be in the corner telling myself I don't need one...

The reason TRGs will not accept the Tikka CTR magazine is the TRG stock functions as a magwell, and the TRG stock does not allow the CTR magazine to fit because the baseplate will not fit into the TRG stock as designed.
Here is my solution:
I build rifle stocks as a hobby. This is the fifth laminate stock I have built. This one has a core of baltic birch, with outer panels of zebra wood. I'm not a fan of how the zebra wood took the stain, but I'm very happy with how the rifle turned out. I still used the factory aluminum chassis inside the stock. Plus I had Clay Spencer fit a Bartlein medium Palma barrel. Weighs 11.2 pounds stripped, and 14 pounds with scope and TBAC suppressor. Have not had a chance to shoot it yet.
Because the magwell from the factory stock is gone, it will accept Tikka CTR magazines just as easily as TRG magazines.
I like the way the wood stock feels and handles. I own several aluminum tube guns, and fiberglass stocked rifles. The laminate shoots just as well (maybe better) and feels much better in hand.

Here are targets from today’s shooting.
Lapua brass neck turned to .014”, H4350, CCI450, Nosler RDF 140, 2.885 OAL. 42.4gr looks very promising.
