You are correct. We were on the same squad; it was a lot of fun watching him shred!

Heh. Didn't DQ, anyway. 191st place overall. I'm currently a lowly B class shooter, so my expectations were not high. It was pretty cool seeing the kind of speed that is required to be really competitive - I now know what I need to focus on in my practice for the foreseeable future.

Did okay on the first day, had a couple 'me' issues and a couple ammo issues the second day, and shot way too cautiously the third day.

It was a fun experience, but being from a semi-arid climate, the humidity was a major bitch and took a lot of getting used to.

The Midwest has been brutal lately. Hot and high humidity. I'm ready for our week of fall.

How high up did the striker-fired HK place?

Nice kid, met him at A1. Seems like he had an excellent match.

Strong work too, congrats. Doesn't look like ol' good Beretta slowed you down too much.

I see our own Talionis in mid-70s, with mid 70 percentage as well. I don't know how to assess that as there are mostly G and M shooters above him, as well as G and M shooters below. Gonna hazard a guess that this placement under-represents his skill level but I don't want to speak for him.
I don't know other HK shooters to say if anyone got better placement.

75th. I've been struggling with the mental aspect of match performance for the whole season to-date, and that culminated with day 1 of nationals. I had a lightbulb moment after that and shot well for days 2 and 3, but as far as match performance, the damage was done on the first day. One thing: I can say with absolute confidence that I was not handicapped by the gun. It ran perfectly and all my mistakes were my own.
