Why single action revolvers?

Time spent pulverising big rocks in the desert with hard cast lead launched from a Ruger SA revolver is time well spent.

The family ranch was home to a rare plant species best described as “Swiss cacti”.

Identical to prickly pear, but with .43 holes all through it.

Under 45 years of my stewardship, it spread across the entire 360 acres.

I ordered a mernickle holster and bullet slide the other day.

I was never impressed with my simply rugged pancake

This thread directly caused me to by the all black Ruger .327 with ashley sights, way to go guys!

Still just a bit too big for little guy, think he will need a bearcat to hold him over. The size of his eyes were worth it. Wow Dad that is REALLY cool.

Picked this up last year and I just today had the chance to shoot it. Standard Manufacturing. This is easily the most accurate SAA I have ever shot and the first one I have had the pleasure of owning that shoots POA/POI. Not sure if it is this particular gun, the caliber, or I just had a good day but I’ll take it.

Most accurate SA revolver I ever had was this Bisley from John Linebaugh. Even though I got a pile of money for it, it’s one of those I wish I still had.

I have one for my 4 5/8” SBH. It’s comfortable, secure and quick but take my advice and get an extra sight blade or two from Ruger. I’ve broken mine twice bumping into things with the gun in that holster. That’s the main reason I went to the Simply Rugged Sourdough for woods carry.
