    TV Cowboy IPA
    Fulton Brewing Minneapolis MN

This one hits a really fine balance between malt, hoppy resin, and the citrus-like mouthfeel of a "juicy" ale. Just enough of all the things.
A new top 5 beer for me.

Maple mood barrel aged imperial stout. Lots of maple flavor and very sweet.
12.5% and. Loads of flavor but maybe too sweet even for me.

    Christmas present from the Mrs.
Hubbard's Cave French Toast barrel aged imperial stout. 12. abv.
Again possibly a little too sweet even for me. Interesting cinnamon with the maple and vanilla flavors.

    Merry Christmas!
Saw this at the store yesterday along with a few of their other heavier varieties. Guess I'm glad I didn't pick this one up. Sounds good but maybe too sweet. Maybe something I'd split with a friend.

Also saw beer made with pickle brine. Didn't buy that either

From the not-IPA category, a beer I had to cross state lines to buy-

New Glarus Brewing Spotted Cow farmhouse saison-style ale
    New Glarus WI
    5.10 % ABV

As good as I remember it from 7-8 years ago.
Totally credible Belgian-style golden ale using primarily Wisconsin barleys and German Saaz hops. Fermented in bottle and with the yeast remaining. Nice.

My son flew in over the weekend and brought an assorted six pack for me. I had the Cavatica Stout last night. I enjoyed it.

I hosted our monthly neighborhood party not too long back and 3 bottles of Spotted Cow were left behind...thoroughly enjoyed them!

Also, much love to all, but F IPA's a whole bunch. JMHO, of course.
