Man. My profession has taken me into some *killer* hipster breweries of late—with the result of a truly epic Saison season.

I feel bad; I’ve been too busy in the moment to get photos of all this bounty… maybe I can retrace my steps next week, and redeem my reputation. Let me see what I can do… it’s just a lot easier when you are opening cans at home, as opposed to on the gig.

Stay tuned for a photo essay of local Saison…

The Kriek sounds pretty wonderful. I have been a fan of those for ...well, a long time.

As well as @Totem Polar 's Cavalcade de Saisons.
I look forward to hearing about beer I have little hope of finding hereabouts.

Tonight's dinner companion was Summit Brewing Company Saga IPA. 6.4 ABV, pretty wonderfully consistent.

I had a couple of these Monday and really enjoyed them. Low ABV IPA that didn't require a fork.

I am seriously going to do better at this thread. Despite my commitment to this place, I have been P-f’ing wrong. I have therefore decided to never enter a brew pub without an ipad to snap a photo… which means a lot of lugging around the old dead Steve Jobs product, since these trying times pretty much necessitate brew pubbing at least 5 out of 7 days. On a slow week.

Today, after shipping out the old Winnie ‘73, Purple Yeti Huckleberry ale. #2 of… whatever it takes to make the demons subside for the evening

Photo dump from the last couple weeks. Wish I had a proper glass for the fruit sour. All of these were good. Rainbow Gravy was probably tops.

    L to R:

Black Saison, Farmhouse Saison, Summer Blonde, English Bitter, Southern English Brown.

Interestingly, the Black Saison and the Farmhouse are the exact same beer, save for the fact that the barley is roasted dark in the, well, you know, the darker one. Most def can tell that they are the same recipe when tasting back-to-back. I preferred the dark enough to have more than one...

    Cheers!
