Have branched out a bit over the past few weeks.
It's been pretty hot here of late, so lighter ABV brews are a good thing.
Grabbed a Pryes Brewery sampler that contained their Royal Raspberry Sour wheat ale among others. Herself and I noted both the deep raspberry flavor profile, and the apple-cider vinegar notes that came forward immediately after. It was really pleasant, and we would seek it out. In body and mouth feel, it was comparable to the well-regarded Fair State Brewing Collective Roselle Hibiscus sour. 4.5 ABV.
Since brewery growler sales have been opened up to the 10,000 gal+ facilities here in MN, I expect to try out a few more of Pryes' beers.

Also just grabbed a Sierra Nevada Various Thing sample pack. This one contained their usual Hazy Little Thing unfiltered IPA, their Wild Little Thing sour (quite nice, and easy for the new sour enthusiast to dip into), Sunny Little Thing citrus wheat ale(a bit sweet for my tastes, but a nice hot weather brew) as well as the Big Little Thing Double IPA, which is quite good, but a tad over-powered at 9% ABV. You probably won't want more than two of those.
