OK,I need to hit the brakes here. I had to reorganize the refrigerators (yes, plural), and decided to do a quick inventory. Surprising, yet kind of poetic I had 69 items on the list (not planned).

Kentucky peach barrel aged sour. Cascade brewery. Proper Pint Alehouse, actual.

It's that that time of year. Sam's Octoberfest is usually pretty good and consistent. I always try it first and then hit up all the local brewers for comparison.

I went to the Four Peaks Haunted Brewery tour in Tempe. It was corny but fun. The building was an ice plant and then a dairy plant before closing in the 50s.

You got the tour, the shirt, and a coupon for 32 ounces of beer for $25. The tours are sold out. I got a growler for $3 and used the coupon for Octoberfest.

I know what some of you are thinking. Trust me though, until you’ve had a *real* pumpkin golden ale, from a brewery that also grows the pumpkins on their farm and loathes to overspice things, you haven’t fully lived. Stocking up for Hallow’s eve.

The only thing I was slightly disappointed in during the Cecil Burch class was that @Clusterfrack didn't bring any cool beer with him.

Ok, do tell; I can't make out the brewery from the cans. I used to like the Southern Tier pumpkin offerings but I can't find them locally anymore. I've been trying others but so far I'm not terribly impressed. The Save The World Brewing is they only one I would buy again, and even then they have 4-6 other varieties I prefer.

Interesting Polish smoky wheat beer. A little on the light side, not very wheaty nor very smokey but together it kinda works. A light, yet flavorful, beer for summer. Lawnmower beer thats refreshing and tastes good
