Ferment was here with beer tastings. Their NZ Nelson hopped IPA was excellent.

Beer Research Institute Dark Side Til I Die. It’s a barrel aged Stout with an ABV of 10.6. I was expecting a thick, syrupy beer but it was much lighter. The bourbon taste was there but it wasn’t overwhelming.

Once again, I’ve been slacking on the beer thread. What with work, parental health issues, and other life stuff, I’ve been too busy to pull my weight here.

But most def not too busy to drink, all things considered.

Let me make amends with a Godly art shot of PSBs peerless Vienna Kolsch, on our first day breaking 70 degrees of the season:

The first time I’ve had the banquet of beer in a long time. It’s really the first beer I drank. I’m enjoying it. 5ABV
