Friday I went to our warehouse facility that is near:
    http://www.hoofheartedbrewing.com/
    And I tried:
    http://www.hoofheartedbrewing.com/be...t-boil-it.html
I have enjoyed several of their others, but just made a decision based on the funny naming and unfortunately, cannot recommend...

Though in the past I have had:
    http://www.hoofheartedbrewing.com/be...nkey-dong.html
and liked it enough to get some to go.

I’d like to try the Belloq or the Voltan

Dunno if it’s been mentioned or not, but particularly as Summer has started here in Florida, this Island beer that I stumbled on a few weeks ago is amazing.

Only problem now is that out local grocery store hasn’t had it in stock since.

Speaking of, anyone else find that the “microbrew” section of their group dry store beer aisle has been taken over by “seltzers”? I mean, literally half of the non-refrigerated beer section is now dedicated to this garbage.

Anywho, if you see some of this around, get you some. It’s fantastic day drinking beer and doesn’t suffer from any of that beer hipster over-hoppy nonsense.

Does the above offend? If you have paid to be here, you can click here to put it in context.

I see seltzers and think of the wine cooler craze in the 80s.

Hoppy nonsense is fun 'til someone gets their palate offended.

If you are looking for a nice hot weather beer, I can recommend this one:

    https://www.summitbrewing.com/brews/dakota-soul/

The advertising copy is pretty accurate- it's far closer to a Czech beer in style and taste than is usually brewed in the Americas. The Dakota barley is a standout.

    coyotesfan97,

If you like porters, go to Tombstone Brewery on 40th & Thomas.
They have some very good beers.

And, I spend most of my time at Goldwaters. Love that place.
