Going old school; keeping it mellow tonight.

Get a load of the cool little pop-up handle for carrying the pack: German engineering at its best.

Ended up breaking my low carb diet having brunch in a nice restaurant with my daughter. I decided quiche and strawberry salad wasn't worth it. Stopped by Celis brewing the next day for a flight.

    ^^^Great minds think alike.

Today was a rare day off, with nothing in ink on the schedule. A bargain was therefore struck: REI, for workout clothes for Mrs Totem, and a hip, downtown craft brewery for your humble correspondent.

Gose, Amber, rice lager, honey brown, and Porter. Plus, since the server and I were having a good time, she threw in the dry Irish stout, gratis. 😇

And they have the barcode on top too. Is it too hard for American breweries to do this?

You know how when a German or Japanese sedan or SUV pulls up in front of a sidewalk cafe, and the driver hits the key fob to lock it, there’s a little chirp or chime to let them know… and when an American SUV, sedan, or truck pulls up in front of a sidewalk cafe, and the driver hits the key fob to lock it, the horn blares to let them know, while scaring the living shit out of everyone sipping lattes on the sidewalk?

    Pretty much like that.

Since we’re doing coasters, this is mine, though I may be biased.

9 bucks for an imperial pint of low ABV stout? What, are you in an airport or something?

Come out here, and I’ll give that menu a run for the money for 5-7 bucks a pint. Time to pop smoke on the left coast, my friend.
