I may try this with some representative FBI pistols over the years; Glock/1911/ 3" K frame for instance.

Shot this one twice. First run was cold--no warm-up.
    25 slow fire: 44/1x
    15 timed fire: 41/0x
    15 rapid fire: 44/0x
    Total: 129/1x

The 25-yard group was pretty much centered. Both 15-yard groups were low and left. I got in a hurry and shot the timed-fire string way too fast (10.68 sec).

The second run was slightly better.
    25 slow fire: 42/1x
    15 timed fire: 45/1x
    15 rapid fire: 44/0x
    Total: 131/2x

I settled down and took 15.68 seconds for the timed-fire string, and it showed. Most hits were again low and left, but not as badly as before.

Observations: I used 124-grain S&B, which I know hits right of where this pistol is zeroed. After these two runs, I shot some slow-fire at 15 yards. My groups were much better, but my POI was high and right. That means the low and left hits (and my scores) would have been much worse had I actually been zeroed for this load.

Looks like I need a lot more one-handed practice.

Shot it this morning with JHC. Pretty challenging especially on the timed fire, you really have to stay on the sights. Jerked the shit out of a few lol. Score: 136 /3x Equipment/ammo: G19 with Winchester white box. Name: image.jpg

Yeah that was nice shooting BES. I shot it with a G17

    1. 46

    2. 36 which was aggravating because it should have been in the low 40's at least but for me snatching one completely off paper (-10)

    3. 44

    126 Total.

    I shall return.
