It was a gorgeous morning flying Cubs in the desert. Some takeoffs and landings.

Fun morning out flying in the 500. This is a Cub strip Charlie found and first landed at a few years ago. I hopped out to move a few larger rocks and reposition a Century plant that grew up right on the approach end of the strip. This spot is tight for the fixed wing.

It has been great flying wx the last few mornings. Here we are southeast of town, flying the helicopter where we have many Cub strips. This one we call El Chapo, and is reasonably long.
This was yesterday, west of town. The first strip we call Yellow Hills, and the second, which is very close by, we call Yellow Eyes. I just let my iPhone run from inside.

Roka turns one tomorrow, and she is most of the way from puppy to young lady. We took her hiking in Sedona today.
