Liberty Lubricants - I recently purchased the company

Mods, please move this is if you think there is a more appropriate place for it.

I recently purchased Liberty Gun Lubricants as a family owned business. Eventually, the idea is for my kids to take it over. Liberty previously sponsored my daughter, Casey. We were very impressed by how well it worked and the ease of cleaning her firearms after application. When the opportunity arose to take over the company, we made a family decision and decided to go for it.

The previous owner was trying compete in the high end market, going head to head with other "hi-tech" lubes. While I feel this is a very high end product, I also feel it is a disposable item and should be priced accordingly. I went in and lowered all of the pricing and will soon be adding different container sizes, as well as other related products.

The members of P-F have always been great to me and I feel it is one of the few forums where you can obtain truly useful information.

I want to offer 10% off to all P-F members. The code is pf10 and will remain good for members of the forum.

All inventory is stocked here in Idaho and is ready to go. Give it a try and let me know how you like it. Also, I am working on redoing aspects of the website. if you happen to spot something out of whack, please don't hesitate to let me know.
    Thank, Jim

Disregard the above post. I only lube my guns with crisco, and I thought you were selling fried chicken to go with it. My bad.;-)

Seriously though, I will give it a try, but until that happens, tell us what makes this good stuff? How long does it tend to last? What makes it special?

From a users point of view, my daughter was having a hell of a time breaking in her Weatherby shotgun. Cleaning the gas system was a bitch. We were really surprised how well the solvent cut through the carbon that other big name cleaners wouldn't seem to make a real dent in. Once we got it all spic-n-span we gave it a good coat of the oil. First thing we noticed was the gun ran like a striped ass ape with a wide variety of loads. The best part was, when it was time to clean the damn thing, the carbon mostly wiped off with a few spots that needed mild scrubbing. With each successive cleaning cycle, it became easier to maintain. It has been keeping her guns running smoothly even packed with "Parma Powder", a notorious killer of gear at the Parma, Id. range.

Hey JR, do you offer little single tear dropper options like Rand CLP and M-Pro 7 does? I'd like to see if I can get your product in the goodie bag for the WA state championship matches and spread the good word.
