    5.56/.223 Civilian Duty Loads?

I appreciate DocGKR's "5.56 mm Duty Loads", but could we get a list of the best "duty" loads available for [I]civilians?

This means the loads aren't limited to only military/LE.
Aren't rare, or some lucky Gunbroker win.
The loads have FBI gelatin tests.
And give priority to those manufacturers that make us civilians their priority.

Not really many problems a good 77gr OTM type round wound solve.

    55, 62 and 75gr Gold Dot
    50gr TSX
    62gr Federal Trophy Bonded (Tipped)

That's a short list to kick it off.

A quick search on ammoseek.com yielded this.

Is that what you had in mind?

I can find Federal Fusion .223 in most sporting good stores for a decent price. They are on Doc's list and Molon did a pretty decent writeup about it's similarity to Gold Dots.

Fusion and Gold Dot use the same bullet and are readily available.

BH has nice 50 & 62 gr TSX loads.

Hornady has good GMX loads, not to mention the 75 gr OTM.

Rem 62 gr CLUB is usually available.

    Asym has 70 gr TSX.

Not like it is hard to find good .223/5.56 mm loads...

IIRC the Hornady Superformance 5.56 55gr loads are sporting the GMX bullet. If your barrel likes the lighter bullets I think you'd have a hard time beating that.

Please take note that the powder curve of these loads is optimized for 18-20" barrels.

Is the 70gr GMX load recommended too?

Great hunting load and long range load, much like the 70 gr TSX--probably too deep of penetration for typical CONUS LE or civilian defensive use.
