Beretta 92G and FS safety compatibility

I have a 92G, and am looking at getting a low profile safety. Every website says they fit 92fs models, but I'm having a hard time finding if the safeties themselves are swappable.

I also don't feel like taking my slide apart today to compare against a screen photo and find out there's a minuscule difference I didn't catch.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Wilson is doing a lot of work on lower profile decock levers for the Beretta 92G, decock lever only on one side, and other things. They would be the people to talk to about this.

I don't know of anyone who wants an actual safety lever on a 92G.

I'm waiting to hear back from them, figured I'd ask here too. I want a lower profile so it's not as harsh on my hands when I do manipulations; I get a lovely feeling right where I don't have caluses, go figure.

So... I've got an older G Converted 92 Compact. (AGW build)
I just used a 92FS-style safety lever in there... works, though the shape is a bit different.

Worst comes to worst, trade someone for an FS slide. I doubt you'll have much trouble.
