Interesting numbers on the NDs being blamed on, tied to the presence of the remote switch, either the DG or Streamlight's version. If this is accurate, I'm curious if the old SL version from SureFire had similar problems since it had different contact points for the hand. Several of us advocate for the remote switch to keep trigger fingers away from the trigger guard (and up on the frame).

A Seattle area cop, Bill Blowers, has a video out on he teaches the activation of the light, w/out the remote switch. It involves turning the slide in-board while moving a bladed support hand towards the rocker switch on the back of the light. Once contact is made, rotate the slide vertical and let the contact activate the light. Depending on the switchology, this can work better for some than others. For example, the Streamlight does not well for me in this manner as a left-hander; yet it is not a problem for me to do it with a SF X300U.
