Yes indeed, the trainer I picked up is a nice, necessary addition. I can actually get plenty of time in with it, before EWO next spring.

So, what did you get?

Some Waves. A handful of the Kershaw-Emerson Collaborations. My wife wanted a new knife and liked these collabs. So I picked up two of the CQC-2Ks, then a 3K for myself. It was one of those "impulse" buy situations, because once I was in for a penny, I went in for the pound...I added one of the CQC-4K/Tactical Pen combos, and finally what good are knives without a trainer? So I grabbed the E-Trainer they had (25 bucks!).

I will admit that after I wrote that I read it out loud at a totally frenzied pace while my wife just stood there looking at me. When I was done she said "you like words" and served dinner.

I have often thought about writing stories for kids...but never quite like that.

But maybe children need to know how the Snitches got their Stitches. I bet there is a whole genre of ironic children's stories to keep parents entertained now. I wonder if you have to supply illustrations? I should maybe get Erin on the drawings.

I'm pretty sure you're kidding about #2 but IME :

1) Daddy's in jail because he deserves it. 2) Daddy in jail means the kids get to eat at home instead of just at school lunch because daddy isn't renting out the Lonestar card for beer and pot money.
