    Defect or normal wear?

Has anyone ever seen this on a Glock OEM "-" connector?

I clean my weapons regularly and this area always has a coating of gun butter on it. The connector has about 5000 rounds on it. I did not know these were plated but it appears so. I noticed this today during a detailed cleaning. I am going to replace it for now. Is it time to toss this one? Thoughts?

Edit: I do not have a spare 3.5 connector so if this one would work until the next one comes in, that would be preferable.

No wonder your trigger was so gritty. Seriously it felt like sand paper. It should be noted jconn uses the ny1/ minus combo.

When I was running the ny1 I noticed this sort of wear on both my connector and trigger bar. I think the ny1 can be tough on these parts..

Though I certainly have no long term experience. But even for the 3 or so months I used the ny1, i had noticeable wear.
