This brilliant, (free), ten minute read, Harrison Bergeron , is the perfect depiction of the perils of "equity". Only it didn't take until 2081.

I'm always amazed at the clarity with which the Vonnegut's, the Orwell's and Huxley's of the world anticipated the future.

And the interesting thing is, Kurt Vonnegut was a liberal. The current Left makes liberal from the old days look like republicans.
