Thread: NYPD Gun Licensing Unit Corruption

You are correct I am not a one issue voter. I like things from BOTH of them. They would make a great team. Cruz cannot beat HRC.

Again, the question is what has Trump done to change things for everyone......other than hiding the No Guns signs at his buildings when questioned about it.

It is not a issue for you. Trump is your guy, and that is fine. You are not a one issue voter like I am, which is guns. "Does Cruz have anything to do with guns outside political opportunities" shows you have not a clue what you are talking about. He was supporting and working on behalf of EVERYBODY's right to access and carry of firearms when nobody was looking. He has actually done more for the 2nd Amendment than any of the current candidates and likely any political candidate since the 2nd Amendment was written.

Neither can Trump. Funny, we agree. I think they would have made a powerful ticket. Which is why Trump's "lying Ted" shit infuriates me. Trump has turned the election into 14 year old twitter wars of mean girls....which sadly works in our world.

Trump/Cruz is a harder ticket to sell, sadly. Trump/Kasich will destroy HRC. Fat lady hasn't sung yet.

    1. Back when I had an NYC permit, long before the Internet, applications needed to be typed. You had to thread the application through a typewriter, align it correctly, and type in all of the required information other than your signature. Requiring it to be typed made it more difficult for some people since not everyone had access to a typewriter or the ability to use it. Do you think Ralph Camden the bus driver has a typewriter? There were licensing services that helped people fill out the paperwork, but that added cost and complexity.

I have suspicion that he did not go through the same process as the little people.
High profile people and celebrities used to be able to get carry permits by virtue of being high profile.

Other people with clean records could get permits to keep the gun loaded for self defense and take it target shooting. It had to be brought to the range unloaded. The paperwork was still a huge pain in the ass and has gotten worse.

I get the impression that something personal happened there.

That neither could beat the Hildebeast is sad. She should be in jail, and yet so many don't care. They just want to elect the first woman president. Whatever happened to character mattering?

The sad thing is that Bernie beats everybody in a general. We are done. America has become a socialist reality show.

Disagree. Barring a parachute by somebody I haven't thought of yet, HRC will be 45. Based on her 2a aggression, compared with obama's reticence in both campaigns and the fact that a trump run will probably cost the republicans both houses, I expect at least four years of huge regression. Expect an AWB at the very least and I think an overturn of Heller is likely within 2-4 years. If we get our crap together in 2020, we may be back to our current status in twenty years -- if we are very lucky.

The damage an HRC term with no obstacles in congress will do to SCOTUS cannot be overstated.

More stupidity. Really, WTF is going on?

For people who seem like they don't want Trump to win, they certainly feel compelled to solidify his base.

The campaigns of Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich say they will coordinate their efforts in three states with upcoming primary contests in the hope of denying Donald Trump from attaining 1,237 delegates prior to this summer’s Republican convention. The campaigns’ plan calls for Kasich to pull his campaign out of Indiana, while Cruz will do the same in Oregon and New Mexico.
