    Fixed blade pocket knives

Front pocket. Specifically for defense. What are you carrying?

I tried the Benchmade 178 SOCP in a BladeRigs sheath in my weak side pocket for a while.

Inside the pocket: An original Spyderco Ronin in a Kydex sheath, mounted inside an nylon J-frame holster. It's invisible, and extremely fast to deploy.

I carry my Joe Watson HiTS knife horizontally on my belt at 11:00, not inside my pocket.

I don't carry folders for defense, only for utility purposes.

I carried a Mad Dog Mongoose for years, flat, strong, currently unavailable.
The SOCP can be easily pocket carried and deployed.
Look for knives under 7-8" overall length that have flat or no handles.
You don't need to spend a lot and probably already have something that will work.
The Raven pocket shield will help keep the knife secure in the pocket.

A pocket sheath for a smalled fixed blade will work. Brave heart with a cut down handle and notches for blade orientation will work well....or so I've been told....

That will work as well as a Gerber Guardian in a bladerigs sheath.

I highly recommend the secret edge by Cold Steel. Cheap and easy to mod. I had mine sent off to bladerigs to mod along with a sheath.
