    They got back to me and gave me a good discount.

    Front top "dragon scales" and side front cocking serrations, no cerakote (I have a local guy).

    I'll be sending the slide out today.

    Can someone please educate me on the use/reason for serrating the length of the slide top?

    It seems more asthetic than practical to me but I've not used one to know.

    I've mostly seen it referenced as more friction to work the slide off of things like many use their rear sight in one handed scenarios.
