    Because 16 K is like, LOT more than the 1K “onboard”.
    Just don’t bump it while typing or it’ll crash. Especially if you haven’t backed it up onto your cassette tape.

    PanAm didn't have jets in 1956. My guess is a DC-6.

    I think you're right, and also Wikipedia says that Pan Am didn't get any jets until the 707 in 1958.
