I've had two cars clobbered by TX hailstorms. One was totaled. We were driving in the latter. Quite an experience, it was like being under a barrage. Orange size, grapefruit sized hail stones. They blew through my neighbor's windows and walls. The impacts were visible on the concrete sidewalks for years. His house shielded the side of mine. Two roofs had to be re-done. Leak into the bedroom ceiling causing major damage. Hail Cesar!
