I've driven N-S and E-W through NV several times. Lived in Las Vegas for awhile. It's an interesting state. I once told a friend she should drive through NV on her back from AZ. Her reply was "are you crazy, there's nothing there". I have to admit, you need to pay attention to your fuel gauge.
