Not anything against you for posting this, but I really dislike people who make memes where they circle or highlight every fucking thing in the picture. 1) If everything is highlighted, nothing is highlighted. 2) Do they think the people viewing the meme are retarded and can't find the words in the meme that are literally taking up the entirety of the picture?

Given the gravity of the issues raised in this thread entitled "Make me laugh..." and which used to have the word butthurt in it, I think it incumbent upon me to address each point seriatim.

First, since I was not the overhighlighter, merely the messenger, allow me to express my appreciation to you for not having anything against me personally.

Moving on, while I wouldn't go so far as to say I dislike people who are overhighlighters and/or overunderliners, I do try to suppress a certain frisson of mild disdain that threatens to overcome me when confronted by their works. Much the same feeling as when witnessing someone put ketchup on foie gras.

You are correct that IF EVERYTHING IS HIGHLIGHTED NOTHING IS HIGHLIGHTED.

On the other hand, it's hard to escape the conclusion that an awful lot of people these days ARE pretty retarded, so assuming that many people are retarded may not be all that retarded.
