I also climbed that big red plateau. It was really hot and dry, not at all like I'd envisioned. Enough so that we ran over a rattlesnake when were parking. After the hike, we went down to Coors to get a drink. You don't have the do the tour to drink the beer. Nothing says "why did we come here?" like an icy cold piss water.
